Training adapted to your reality

The AEAQ is present for its members for all sorts of various training. We have held workshops on human resources training, social media best practices and technological workshops.

Representation with government authorities

With government authorities, the AEAQ is called upon to represent its members and to negotiate, particularly with the Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ) in the context of the preparation and implementation of the annually renewed Financial Support Program for Agricultural Exhibitions. The Association also collaborates regularly with breeders’ associations in the development of norms and standards for the holding of competitions and judging during shows.

Liability insurance

Directors’ and officers’ liability insurance is purchased annually by the AEAQ to cover all directors of each member agricultural exhibition.

The AEAQ’s mission is to foster the growth of its members throughout Quebec by exercising leadership and influence with government officials and industry partners. It also aims to become a key service and exchange centre for agricultural exhibitions in Quebec.
