Agricultural exhibitions are much more than just exhibitions: they are places to relax, let go and have fun with family and friends.
Places to discover and share experiences.

Fairs are at the heart of the traditions of quebecers
A historical tradition
109 years of average existence
This makes them the oldest type of event in the history of Quebec: more than half of the exhibitions still in existence today (61%) began before 1945.
A success of unequalled durability, which proves the historical attachment of the Quebec people to these fairs.
Who visits agricultural fairs ?

A LOCAL AND FAMILY EXPERIENCE
Less than 30% of visitors to agricultural fairs are tourists or day-trippers, compared to almost 45% for other types of events.
The clientele is therefore more local and loyal than for all other types of events.

from their local fair.

CLOSE TO THE BREEDERS AND THE NEXT GENERATION
More than 500 dairy cattle breeders participate annually in agricultural shows, as volunteers, exhibitors in educational booths or during competitions.
Many other breeds and breeders are also present (horses, sheep, goats…)
Agricultural shows are an opportunity for advertisers to reach their target audience: farmers. It is also an opportunity to connect with the next generation. Indeed, all shows have a component that includes young breeders.
Each year, several thousands of dollars are given in premiums by the agricultural shows to the breeders. In addition, the prizes won by the animals have a positive long-term economic impact on the breeders. The shows are therefore an important meeting place to connect with the breeders.
Animals at fairs : It’s what makes us different than a regular festival or concert
No other event open to the public allows you to get up close to animals and learn from the breeders about what it’s all about to raise and breed livestock.
